Event Details

  • Yes, and you will need a valid I.D. to enter. Please see our Entry T&C’s for more info.

  • PICA - Main Entrance via 12 Thackray Road, Port Melbourne.

  • PICA is located approx 8.0km from Melbourne CBD, a 16 minute drive via Kings Way/Princes Hwy/A60. Large crowds & heavy traffic is expected in and around PICA.

    A high number of patrons are expected to be attending the event so it’s essential to plan your trip in advance and work out how you are getting to and from the Event.

    Uber & Taxi drop off is 12 Thackray Road, Port Melbourne. Please follow the road VMS signs.

    RIDESHARE / TAXI ZONES

    Event rideshare / taxi location will incorporate specific traffic treatments. Due to the anticipated high utilization of the roads around the venue, the designated vehicle drop off zone is to be at 12 Thackray Road, Port Melbourne, to the entry of the Festival site at PICA. Correctly identified taxi and rideshare vehicles will be allowed access.

    PUBLIC DROP OFF & PICK UP

    The designated Drop Off and Pick Up zone will ONLY be allowed at 12 Thackray Road, Port Melbourne.

    PUBLIC TRANSPORT

    Public transport will be available to and from PICA.

    • The closest Tram stop is Stop 128: 25 minute walk can catch TRAM 109 to the CBD.

    • From Southern Cross patrons can catch the 235 bus to PICA get off at Plummer & Salmon St, last buses depart Southern Cross by 9pm weeknights and 8pm on Saturdays (not available for post event return)

    • From PICA patrons can catch the 234 bus to the CBD from the Rosny St & Howe Pde Stop, which is a 10 minute walk from PICA, buses are scheduled every 30 minutes with last buses at 12.06am weeknights and 11.46pm on Saturdays.

    PARKING

    No Parking is available on site. It is recommended you utilize rideshare and the pickup / drop off zone.

    There will be free street parking on Salmon Street, Rocklea Drive and surrounding streets along with Free public car park parking is located on Salmon Street Frontage Road.

    Strictly NO event parking on Woolboard Road or Thackray Road, any cars that park here will be towed.

    ACCESSIBLE PARKING

    Accessible Parking is available to Blue Badge holders via registration with Promoter & Venue. Accessible Parking cannot be organised on event days.

    The car park will be operational between the hours of 5:00 PM – 1:30 AM.

    There will be a limited number of accessible parking spots made available to patrons with limited mobility (blue badge holders). These spaces will be positioned as close to the event site as possible. If patrons with serious immobility conditions require further assistance, they will be required to contact the promoter to organise alternate arrangements.

  • Unfortunately there are no pass outs for our events.

  • No, but footwear is required. Thongs are discouraged.

  • PICA provides cloaking services at $5 an Item. The Cloak Room will be open until 30 minutes after the event for all cloaking services. Ear Plugs are also available for purchase at the Cloak Room

  • Event Day will happen unless announced closer to the day and severe weather conditions are forecasted.

  • Everyone deserves to experience live music and we’re constantly working on ways to improve the festival to create an accessible and inclusive environment.

    • The main toilet block areas at this event all include disabled access toilets.

    • A drop off area is located outside the main entrance for each event.

    • First Aid medical are located on site for the duration of the event.

  • If you hold a valid National Companion Card and purchase a General Admission ticket to Electric Gardens, you will receive a complimentary ticket for your companion or carer. Please reach out to info@electricgardens.com.au after you have purchased your GA ticket and include the following:

    • A copy of your valid National Companion Card

    • Your location & ticket order number

    • The email address you used to buy the ticket

    • The full name of your companion

  • 18+ Photo ID
 – Electric Island is an 18+ event. Please bring a valid photo ID.



    Credit/Debit/Phone Wallet – We’re 100% cashless and 100% tap and go!
    So bring your cards and phone wallets because you won’t be able to spend any cash.

    Empty Plastic Water Bottle – 
Always stay hydrated! You can bring in your own plastic water bottle to fill up at the free water stations around site. Make sure it’s completely empty when you enter the event.

    Backpack or Bag
Bags must be no larger than 20cm x 30cm, which is around the size of an A4 piece of paper.

    Sun lotion, Skincare & Makeup (under 110ml and in plastic) – 
Any liquids over 110ml or any glass will be disposed of at the front gate so if you need to bring products to protect or touch up your skin, make sure they are in small, plastic containers.

    Small Still or Film Cameras (or just your fancy ass phone camera) 
- Small still or film cameras are totally fine, but any professional still cameras or video and audio recording devices – including GoPros and drones – aren’t allowed in.

    Sanitary items – 
Tampons, pads and menstrual cups are all allowed into Electric Gardens. If you haven’t brought any in but end up needing some once you’re inside the event, our first aid partners will have free sanitary items available to you! You’re able to dispose of these inside the toilets on site.

  • Food & beverage concessions will be available throughout the venue for further details please visit the patron map for locations.

  • Doors open at 6pm

    Event will finish at 1am

  • Terms of sale state that there are no refunds available however you can pass your ticket onto a friend to use. Name changes are not required.

    You can also use ‘Tixel’ – Megatix’ official reselling platform – to resell your ticket.

  • Tickets can be purchased 10 tickets in one transaction

    Do I need to print my ticket? 

    Not if you don’t want to.

    Simply show the PDF ticket attached to the confirmation email or download the Megatix app and access your tickets on your iOS or Android device.
